These guys flew all back from Belgium to celebrate their special event in Braila, their childhood hometown.
What a delight, this being also my (Sabina’s) hometown.
It was fulfilling to see the town with new eyes and observe the sun setting down so peacefully through the french-style buildings in the old centre, but more importantly, it felt so moving to see Geanina and Catalin celebrating their love. Maybe because they had a history with the town, just like us, we felt really connected with them and their families.
We really admired the openness of feelings of Geanina’s mother and sister (and their pastry goodies that were shared in the perfect moment of the day) and the joy and happiness in Catalin’s brother and friends, that danced all night long with no signs of tiring out.
Having family and real friends near you in this special day seems the recipe of success and we cannot stress enough how important it is to celebrate the day with open hearts, leaving the worries to the past and embracing the future with hope and love.
See for yourselves below what we mean by that.
